DCA is the closest airport to Washington Hebrew Congregation and the hotels where we have arranged for room blocks. If you are planning to leave from our home in Potomac on Sunday, it is equidistant to DCA and IAD. **Please note the Marine Corps Marathon is taking place Sunday morning in Arlington, VA and Washington, DC. This will potentially create a delay in access s to DCA Sunday morning and afternoon.
Train
Amtrak provides service in and out of the Washington, DC area. Union Station is the best stop for arrivals and heading to the hotels. If you are planning to leave from our home in Potomac on Sunday, you can depart from New Carrollton Station or Union Station. **Please note the Marine Corps Marathon is taking place Sunday morning in Arlington, VA and Washington, DC. Metrorail
Washington, DC has an extensive and actively-used Metro transit service. All our room block hotels have easy access to the Metro. Please keep in mind there are frequent train delays on the weekends. You can research information at www.wmata.com or ask at your hotel.

Washington, DC and Bethesda are very pedestrian-friendly. In addition, reliable ways to travel around the area without renting a car are to use Uber, Lyft, or a taxi cab.
